Homemade Pizza Makes for a Winning Game Night

Who says you need to go out for pizza? Stay in tonight, invite friends over for a game night, and show off a variety of pizza types. From an homage to Asian ingredients to a vegetarian pizza with a hummus base to dessert pizza, there's something savory and sweet for everyone to enjoy.

Philly Cheese Steak Pizza

Everyone's favorite sandwich — the Philly Cheesesteak — is translated to pizza form with this recipe. With a silky sauce of cream cheese, sour cream and Spice Islands® Beau Monde seasoning as the base, the pizza is topped with bell pepper slices, mushrooms, roast beef and mozzarella cheese. In true cheesesteak style, give guests the option to drizzle a melty cheddar cheese sauce over their slice.

Wonton Style Pizza

The Asian-inspired Wonton Style Pizza mixes a craving for both Chinese food and pizza. Adorned with ground pork, water chestnuts, cilantro, sesame oil and green onions, this unique play on flavors is a crowd-pleaser.

The Everything-You-Want Pizza

Using these recipes for pizza dough and pizza sauce, lay the foundation for a creation that everyone can make their own. Set up a variety of prepped items: pepperoni, chopped ham, crumbled bacon, bell peppers, mushrooms, pineapple chunks, anchovies, etc. Let guests spread what they want onto the pizzas, bake and serve.

Spinach and Hummus Pizza

Combine garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice and spices in the blender to make hummus, which is used as the base layer in this Spinach and Hummus Pizza. Another option is to make mini pizzas using ovals of pita bread.

Pizza Fluffins

This adorable cross between muffins and pizza is a great way to start off the evening. Make in advance, stuffing with all the fixings, such as pepperoni, mozzarella and green bell pepper slices — then just warm in the microwave or oven when guests arrive. They can snack on these fluffins while waiting for the main pizza entree.

Caramel Apple Pizza

Who would have thought pizza could double as a dessert? For this Caramel Apple Pizza, tart green apple wedges are arranged and pressed into the pizza dough. Brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, Spice Islands® Ground Saigon Cinnamon and more are combined and poured over the apples to create a gooey, bubbly caramel on top. Banana slices can also sub for apples, if desired.

Easy Fruit Pizza

Using prepared sugar cookie dough as the crust, this Fruit Pizza is a breeze to pull off as another dessert pizza option. Softened cream cheese and marshmallow crème are combined and spread over the dough before being topped with desired fruit. Almost as if you're making a giant fruit tart, you can use your favorite seasonal fruit on the pizza, or specific fruit combinations like kiwi and strawberry; a tropical theme of mango, pineapple and papaya; or all berries.
