They're slurp-able, they're twirl-able, they're filling and hearty. What they're not? Pasta! With an inexpensive spiral veggie cutter in hand and the legendary flavors of Spice Islands® spices, you can easily turn vegetables like zucchini, sweet potatoes, carrots, beets, and butternut squash into healthy, veggie-forward bowls of un-pasta.

Pasta dishes with veggie noodles come together in a snap. Served with a warm sauce that “cooks" the noodles just to al dente, there's no need for boiling, sautéing, or juggling a big pot of water while you're putting the finishing touches on your sauce. When your sauce is hot, just toss with uncooked noodles in a big bowl and serve.

With any pasta, it's really all about that sauce, and veggie noodles are no different. Try a decadent, peppery Alfredo with summer squash – the sharp, salty parmesan is a perfect match for the delicate, silky, pale golden noodles. Bright green zucchini noodles with a sauce of Figs, Olives, and Pine Nuts comes together in a snap, especially if you put the food processor to work making the sauce. Spicy Shrimp Remoulade with earthy sweet potato noodles is a match made in Creole heaven, and Chicken Cacciatore with wide rutabaga noodles is hearty and deeply satisfying on a chilly weeknight. If you're serving veggie noodles sans sauce, try tossing them with a simple drizzle of warm olive oil and a shake of sweet basil, and top with shaved pecorino.

We all want to eat more vegetables, right? What better and more fun way to present them than heaped in a big bowl and topped with a delicious sauce? Before you know it, you'll be experimenting with various combinations of color, texture, and flavor. Your dinners will be all the more healthier (and delicious) for it, full of fiber, vitamins, and minerals, and grain-free to boot!
