Chimichurri

Unique name. Distinctive flavor.

Chimichurri Seasoning
Chimichurri Seasoning, Ground

With its flavorful blend of parsley, cilantro, garlic and oregano, chimichurri adds a breath of freshness to grilled meats. True to its Argentine roots, it is bright and lively. This delightful seasoning makes a mouthwatering sauce that is as versatile as it is tasty. In fact, a bowl of chimichurri can be found on nearly every dinner table in Argentina. Used in a multitude of applications, it’s primarily paired with steak, but it is great as a chicken marinade or drizzled atop grilled fish.

Fun Fact: The origins of this unusual name are a bit fuzzy. It’s either named after Jimmy McCurry, an Irishman who was sympathetic to the cause of Argentine independence, or from the Basque word tximitxurri, which means “a mixture of several things.”
