Fine powder, fine flavor.

Garlic Powder
(allium sativum)
Garlic Powder, Ground

Our Spice Islands® garlic is harvested in California, then put through a unique process to create a garlic powder that has similar flavor notes to fresh garlic. The very fine powder disperses easily in liquids and works well in sauces, unlike the granulated garlic some brands label as garlic powder.

Distinctively pungent, garlic complements almost any savory dish. We recommend using 1/4 tsp of garlic powder for every clove of fresh garlic.

Fun Fact: While we don’t know the exact date garlic was first cultivated, we know it was grown in Mesopotamia in 3,000 BC. Garlic bulbs were fed to the Egyptians who built the pyramids and were placed in King Tutankhamun’s tomb.

Our Garlic Powder is only garlic. Spice Islands® spices and herbs don’t contain added sugar, fillers or other ingredients so you get the most authentic flavor every time.
