Marjoram

A close cousin of oregano, marjoram has a milder and less peppery taste, making it ideal for enhancing more delicate flavors. It’s also an essential ingredient in classic spice blends like bouquet garni and herbes de Provence.

While marjoram’s roots are Mediterranean, we source our Spice Islands® marjoram from the U.S. for its exceptional flavor. The aromatic herb is machine-harvested and then dried to produce a cleaner product.

Fun Fact: Greek lore traces marjoram’s origin to Mount Olympus, where its enticing aroma and flavor were said to be favorites of Aphrodite, the goddess of love.

Our Marjoram is only marjoram. Spice Islands® spices and herbs don’t contain added sugar, fillers or other ingredients so you get the most authentic flavor every time.
