1/2 cup instant coffee granules

3 cups hot tap water

3 cups sugar

4 cups vodka

1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands® Pure Almond Extract

1 Spice Islands® Vanilla Bean


Dissolve coffee in water. Add sugar and boil in medium saucepan for 5 minutes over medium high heat.

Remove from heat; add vodka and almond extract. Place vanilla bean in bottom of 1 gallon jug and add mixture. Cover tightly.

Let age 30 days in a cool dry area. Strain before transferring to two 1-quart bottles.
