Mulled Red Wine

1 (750 ml) bottle


1 bottle (750 ml) Woodbridge® Merlot OR Cabernet Sauvignon Wine

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons Spice Islands® Mulling Spices


Pour wine into a small slow cooker.  Stir in brown sugar.

Place mulling spice in a tea ball or a square of cheese cloth that is then tied with string.  Add the mulling spice to the wine and place the lid on slow cooker.  Heat on low for 20 to 30 minutes before serving.  Stir before serving. 

If your slow cooker has a setting for "keep warm", use this after the wine mixture is warm.
