Peppery Italian Meat Rub

3/4 cup


1/2 cup Spice Islands® Sweet Basil

2 tablespoons Spice Islands® Fine Grind Black Pepper

2 tablespoons Spice Islands® Thyme

1 tablespoon Spice Islands® Rosemary

1 tablespoon Mazola® Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 cloves finely chopped garlic


Combine basil, black pepper, thyme and rosemary.  Store in closed container.

Combine 1 tablespoon rub with olive oil and garlic. Generously rub over surface of pork tenderloin, poultry, seafood or meat before broiling, grilling or roasting.  Use to season 1 to 1-1/2 pounds.
