Ingredients

1-1/2 cups vodka

4 Spice Islands® Cinnamon Sticks

8 Spice Islands® Whole Cloves

1 tablespoon Spice Islands® Crystallized Ginger

1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Orange Peel

2 Spice Islands® Whole Nutmeg

2 bottles (750 ml each) burgandy wine

1-1/2 cups sugar

1/3 cup raisins

1/4 cup slivered almonds

Instructions

Place vodka in a container with a tight fitting lid. Add cinnamon sticks, cloves, crystallized ginger, orange peel and nutmeg (split each in half using a hammer). Tightly cover and let set a minimum of 24 hours; strain.

Mix flavored vodka, wine and sugar in a large saucepan or stockpot. Heat, covered, but do not boil. Serve warm. Garnish each serving with raisins and silvered almonds.
