Shrimp Dumplings

Combine chopped cabbage, green onions, shrimp, bamboo shoots, garlic, white pepper and ginger root in a food processor.  Pulse ten times.  Scrape down bowl and add rice vinegar, soy sauce and sesame oil.  Pulse an additional ten times.

Place about 1-1/2 teaspoons filling in center of each wonton skin.  Moisten edges with water; seal edges.

Steam, in a single layer, 15 to 20 minutes in a steamer lined with cabbage leaves (to prevent sticking), or until skin is translucent and shrimp is cooked through.  Dumplings can also be cooked by lowering a few at a time in gently boiling water for about 8 to 10 minutes.

Serve with additional soy sauce for dipping.
