A World of Tacos

Bored with the same-old recipes for weeknight dinner? We’ve taken the humble taco and reimagined what taco night could be by inspiring authentic and flavorful meals. These tortillas don't necessarily have to be filled with Mexican creations, either. Due to their handcrafted nature and expert combinations, SPICE ISLANDS® spices reimagine tacos to incorporate flavors of Southeast Asia, India and the Mediterranean, as well as new spins on traditional Mexican flavors.

Potato and Poblano Turkey Tacos

The combination of SPICE ISLANDS® Ground Chipotle Chile sourced from Mexico and Chili Powder bring a pop of authentic flavor to the chunks of tender potatoes tucked into the Potato and Poblano Turkey Tacos. Roast the poblano peppers in the broiler or on a gas stove top, giving these tacos more of a smoky flavor.

Korean Tacos with Sriracha Slaw

Our sweet and spicy Sriracha Slaw makes this authentic Korean dish one to desire. The steak is drizzled with a mixture of soy sauce, and artistically crafted SPICE ISLANDS® sesame seeds, minced garlic, and white pepper. And the combination of mayo, Sriracha, coleslaw, and cilantro truly brings this dish to a new level of flavor.

Greek Lamb Tacos with Tzatziki Sauce

For a more Mediterranean spin, lamb is lightly mixed with SPICE ISLANDS® Sweet Basil,Oregano and Minced Garlic before piled into pitas. A drizzle of creamy tzatziki, shredded cucumber, tart feta cheese and sliced red onion complete this Greek taco.

Banh Mi Style Turkey Tacos

The Vietnamese-style banh mi sandwich serves as the inspiration for these Banh Mi Style Turkey Tacos. Just like the sandwich, the taco is dabbed with a spicy chile sauce and piled high with crunchy garnishes like carrots, radishes, and cilantro. The SPICE ISLANDS® GARLIC POWDER, Ground Cumin Seed and Ground Ginger season the meat. (With SPICE ISLANDS® Garlic Powder, ¼ teaspoon can be subbed for a single clove of garlic in a recipe. Because every one of our spices are so flavorful and perfectly portioned that even the smallest amount packs the biggest flavor).

Spicy Indian Cauliflower and Garbanzo Bean Tacos

Our whole mustard seedsturmeric and ginger don't just give the cauliflower a stunning yellow hue, but also infuse a wallop of authentic Indian flavors into the vegetable in these Spicy Indian Cauliflower and Garbanzo Bean Tacos. Garbanzo beans, cashews and coconut milk enhance the Indian background of this taco, for which naan or pita bread is subbed for traditional taco shells. Pair with a sweet drink, like mango nectar or pineapple juice; the sweetness enhances the complexity of spices.

Taqueria-Style Chicken Tacos

This homemade taco seasoning — which contains SPICE ISLANDS® Cayenne Pepper sourced from India — can be used for a multitude of recipes (make a large batch of it!), including Taqueria-Style Chicken Tacos with an authentic Mexican flair. Peppery shredded chicken, queso fresco and cilantro are the main component of this dish that can transport you thousands of miles away.

Reimagine for yourself

Now that you know about dinner’s potential with SPICE ISLANDS®, it’s time to discover the flavor for yourself tonight for dinner. Let the rich aroma of handcrafted spices fill your kitchen as you enjoy Mexican tacos or any authentically global flavors.
