Deviled Eggs Four Ways

12 deviled eggs


Deviled Egg Base

6 precooked, hard cooked eggs

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon sweet relish

1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Mustard

Asian Chile Garlic and Toasted Sesame Seed Deviled Eggs

1 tablespoon Asian chile garlic sauce

Garnish with 1 teaspoon toasted Spice Islands® Sesame Seeds

Smoked Paprika and Black Pepper Deviled Eggs

Salt and Pepper to taste

Garnish with Spice Islands® Smoked Paprika

Garnish with Spice Islands® Medium Grind Black Pepper

Bacon Cheddar Chive Deviled Eggs

1 tablespoon crumbled crisp cooked bacon

1 tablespoon shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon Spice Islands® Chives

For garnish 1-1/2 teaspoons Spice Islands® Chives


For Egg Base: Slice hard cooked eggs in half lengthwise. Scoop out yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Place hard cooked egg whites on serving platter.

Mash egg yolks with a fork until very fine. Mix in mayonnaise, sweet relish and ground mustard. Salt and pepper to taste if not doing flavored variations. Fill egg white halves.

Asian Chile Garlic and Toasted Sesame Seed:  Reduce mayonnaise to 3 tablespoons.  Add Asian chile garlic sauce and mix well.  Fill egg white halves.  Garnish with sesame seeds.

Smoked Paprika and Black Pepper: Increase sweet relish to 1-1/2 teaspoons. Salt and pepper to taste. Fill egg white halves and sprinkle generously with smoked paprika.  Finish with a light sprinkle of black pepper.

Bacon Cheddar Chive Deviled Eggs:  Mix filling.  Add bacon, cheese and chives.  Fill egg white halves.  Garnish with chives.
