Fisherman's Wharf Crab Bake

1 cup crab meat, chopped

2 tablespoons dry sherry

2 tablespoons butter OR margarine

2 teaspoons Spice Islands® Arrowroot

1 cup light cream

1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands® Beau Monde Seasoning

1/8 teaspoon Spice Islands® Medium Grind Black Pepper

1/4 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Mustard

2 teaspoons Spice Islands® Parsley

1 egg, hard cooked, chopped

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese

1/8 teaspoon Spice Islands® Paprika


Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Combine crab meat and sherry; set aside.

Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat; blend in arrowroot. Add cream gradually. Stir in Beau Monde, pepper and mustard. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Add parsley, egg, mushrooms, cheese and crab meat.

Spoon into 4 buttered ramekins OR a 1-quart casserole. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until bubbly. Sprinkle with paprika before serving.
