Herb Sherried Carrots

1 pound fresh carrots, peeled, trimmed, cut into narrow 2-inch sticks

1/3 cup water

3 tablespoons butter OR margarine

1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands® Crushed Rosemary

1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands® Thyme

2 tablespoons dry sherry

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt


Place carrots and water in large skillet. Cover; bring to a boil over
medium high heat. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer 5
minutes or until carrots are tender. Drain.

Add butter, rosemary, thyme, sherry, sugar and salt; stir to
combine. Continue cooking, stirring frequently until heated and
glazed, about 5 minutes. Serve hot.
