Korean Tacos with Sriracha Slaw

8 tacos


3 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon Spice Islands® Sesame Seeds

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands® Minced Garlic

1/4 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground White Pepper

1 pound top sirloin steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon Mazola® Corn Oil

Sriracha Coleslaw

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Spice Islands® Sriracha Seasoning

4 cups coleslaw mix

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

8 tortillas

1/2 cup sliced green onions


Combine sugar, sesame seeds, soy sauce, minced garlic and white pepper in a small bowl; mix well.  Place steak in a bowl and drizzle with half of the sesame soy mixture.  Toss to coat well.

Combine mayonnaise and Sriracha in a medium bowl (amount of Sriracha may be adjusted depending on heat preference).  Add coleslaw and cilantro; toss to coat.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.  Coleslaw can be made ahead.

 Heat oil in large skillet over high heat.  Add steak in a single layer; cook 2 to 3 minutes and turn steak.  Cook 2 minutes.  Add remaining sesame soy mixture and mix well.  Cook 1 minute 

Portion Korean Steak into tortillas.  Top with Sriracha Coleslaw and green onions.
