Tarragon Smashed Potatoes

2-1/2 pounds red potatoes

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1-1/2 teaspoons Spice Islands® Garlic Salt

1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands® Fine Grind Black Pepper

2 teaspoon Spice Islands® Tarragon

Optional, 1 tablespoon Spice Islands® Chives


Cut potatoes in half or 1-inch chunks.  Place in large saucepan and cover with water.  Bring to a boil and cook about 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.  Drain.

Transfer potatoes to a large bowl. Add milk, butter, sour cream, garlic salt, pepper, tarragon and chives if desired. Mash with potato masher or electric mixer. Serve immediately.
