Green Goddess Pesto Recipe

This Green Goddess Pesto adds a fresh, herbaceous twist to any dish, combining the classic flavors of pesto with the unique zest of Spice Islands® Green Goddess seasoning!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves, packed
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Spice Islands® Green Goddess Seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup olive oil (plus more as needed)
  • ¼ cup pine nuts, toasted
  • 1 tbsp lemon

Directions

  1. In a food processor or blender, combine basil, parsley, Parmesan cheese, Spice Islands® Green Goddess Seasoning, garlic, and toasted pinenuts. Pulse until coarsely chopped.
  2. While the processor is running, slowly drizzle in olive oil and lemon juice until the mixture reaches your desired consistency.
  3. Add more olive oil if needed.
  4. Taste and adjust with additional Spice Islands® Green Goddess Seasoning, as desired.

Tips

Great sauce for pasta, a spread for sandwiches, or a dip for vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
