Ingredients
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (preferably one made with olive or avocado oil)
- 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 medium heirloom tomato, cut crosswise into ¼” thick slices
- Sea salt and freshly ground pepper
- Spice Islands Snipped Chives
Directions
- Crisp sourdough in a toaster to your liking.
- Spread about a tablespoon of mayonnaise onto each slice. Follow with a squeeze lemon juice and top with a few slices of tomato. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and snipped chives. Slice and serve with a napkin for those juicy bites—you’ll need it.
