Dynamite Pulled Pork Sliders Recipe

Ingredients
Pulled Pork:
- 1 5-pound bone-in pork butt (shoulder roast), cut into 3-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 whole garlic cloves
- ½ cup beef or chicken broth
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup packed dark brown sugar
- ¼ cup cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons Spice Island Dynamite Sweet and Spicy seasoning
Cole Slaw:
- 3 cups finely shredded green cabbage
- 1 cup finely shredded red cabbage
- ½ cup shredded carrots
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Dynamite Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons Spice Islands Dynamite Sweet and Spicy seasoning
- 3 tablespoons water (or cooking liquid from slow cooker)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
To Serve:
- 12 slider rolls or 6 sandwich-size buns, each cut in half
- Pickles
Directions
- In crock of slow cooker combine pork pieces, onion, garlic, broth, ketchup, brown sugar, cider vinegar and Dynamite seasoning; toss to mix well and coat meat.
- Cook over HIGH for 4 to 5 hours or on MEDIUM for 6 to 8 hours, stirring occasionally until meat shreds easily, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, prepare Cole Slaw: In large bowl combine green cabbage, red cabbage, carrots, olive oil, cider vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper; stir to mix well. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- With slotted spoon, remove meat to large bowl. With 2 forks, shred pork as finely as desired.
- To serve, spoon some pork into slider rolls; top with coleslaw. Serve with pickles. Serves 6.
Tips
*Pulled Pork can be made 1 to 2 days ahead. Reheat leftover pulled pork with ¼ cup water to ensure pork doesn’t dry out.
