Directions

  1. Preheat Broiler – Preheat broiler on high and position oven rack 4–6 inches from the heating element. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top, if available.
  2. Steakhouse Compound Butter – Combine butter and Spice Islands® Steakhouse Select Seasoning. Set aside.
  3. Steak – Rub steak with oil and Spice Islands® Steakhouse Select Seasoning. Allow to come to room temp before broiling. Broil to desired doneness, basting with steakhouse compound butter. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  4. Seasoned Fries – Cut skin-on potatoes into 1/4-inch fries. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes, then dry. Fry at 300°F for 3–4 minutes to soften. Increase oil to 375°F and fry again until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
