1. Heat oil in large pot over medium-high heat; add onion and cook until soft and caramelized. Add beef and pork. Cook until meat is browned. Drain any excess oil.
  2. Add bell pepper, jalapeno, and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add broth, tomato sauce, molasses, chili powder, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, chipotle, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer.
  5. Add the beans and mashed beans. Simmer uncovered for 40-60 minutes. Serve hot.
