Easy Pumpkin Butter

Ingredients
- 1 (28-ounce) can pure, unsweetened pumpkin puree
- 1 c. unsweetened apple sauce
- ¼ c. granulated sugar
- ¼ c. honey
- 2 tsp. Spice Island Ground Saigon Cinnamon
- ½ tsp. Spice Island Ground Nutmeg
- ½ tsp. Spice Island Ground Cloves
- Juice of half a lemon
Directions
- Add all of the ingredients to a large saucepan set over medium heat. Stir to combine and bring to a gentle boil.
- Lower heat to a simmer and cook about 15 minutes, stirring once in a while, until smooth and hot. For a smoother consistency, puree well in a blender.
- Spread warm on biscuits, waffles, or toast. Jar and store in the refrigerator for 1 week or freeze for a few months.
