Greek Lamb Tacos with Tzatziki Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 tsp Spice Islands Oregano
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp Fine Mediterranean Sea Salt
- 1/2 tsp Spice Islands Sweet Basil
- 1/2 tsp Spice Islands Onion Powder
- Shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 8 pita breads
Tzatziki Sauce:
- 1 carton (5 to 6 ounces) plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 tsp Spice Islands Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Spice Islands Garlic Salt
- 1/2 tsp Spice Islands Fine Grind Black Pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded, peeled cucumber
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Directions
- Cook lamb, oregano, garlic, salt, basil and onion powder in a large skillet over medium heat until lamb is cooked through. Drain well.
- While lamb is cooking, prepare Tzatziki Sauce mixing all ingredients in a small bowl. Sauce can be made ahead.
- Assemble tacos by filling pita bread with lettuce, lamb, tomatoes, onion and Tzatziki Sauce.
